This sites guide is provided to give pilots as much information as possible to enable safe and enjoyable flying from sites in the North Yorks area. If a problem does arise, you are asked to be considerate and polite. If the dispute is with a landowner (or someone claiming to own the site), again be polite, state the facts and apologise for the inconvenience. If necessary pay the token fine, get a name and contact telephone number. The club’s sites officer may have to contact the person at some stage.
Remember we are constantly trying on your behalf, to establish contacts and rights of use or access to land around our sites. It has taken many years and a great deal of hard work by lots of people to establish the agreements we have in place today. Please use the site guide so you don’t do anything, which could jeopardise the freedom we all enjoy today.

If you have experienced any difficulties or problems regarding any site, contact the Sites Officer or a Committee member as soon as possible.
