This page is for new pilots who are looking to take to the skies at their local hill. You may have just left your school and joined the club and are wondering what to do next.

Below are a list of club coaches who's role is to look after newly qualified and low airtime pilots on the hill. If you get in touch with one of them you can organise to meet on a flying day where the club coach can pass on their knowledge and help you to make the best decisions and guide you on your first post-CP flights.

It is highly recommended that you do this as your first flights out of the school environment can be daunting and you may not have much knowledge at a local scale to do with sites, weather conditions etc.

When contacting club coaches, please ensure you do it the day before a potentially flyable day and at a sociable time rather than early in the morning on the day.
